I fastened the joists with long screws and nuts in the attic. I used a thick steel plate and washer before the nut. In the technical data of each of these nuts (M14), the yield stress is over 2.5 tons. In other words, the carrying capacity of the screws is much higher than the load I can lift. The bridge height in the middle is 160mm and the side beams are 140mm in size. The bridge span is 400 cm. All calculations were made when installing the crane beams and the bridge. In terms of capacity, 1.2 tons is the capacity of the crane machine. Of course, I never lift 1.2 tons because I don't need it. The maximum load I will lift does not exceed 0.5 tons.
