Child Safety Week 2020 is a week to amplify conversations and action on the issue of Child Sexual Abuse, which rarely gets talked about. Arpan in Mumbai, India has started this movement in 2019 and the dates are November 14-20. As a part of the movement and starting conversations, Together for Girls and Arpan organized a webinar on Global Perspectives on Child Sexual Abuse on November 16, 2020, where experts from the US, UK, Philippines, and India came together to discuss trends witnessed on the issue of CSA, how interventions are being modified along with the changing environment, the most important progress we’ve made in the last decade, some of the biggest challenges we see today as organizations working on the issue, and ways in which we can address them.
