In MS Project there is no default field available to calculate the Planned % complete or the Baseline % completed. In this tutorial I will explain how to create a customized field to capture planned % complete to compare it against the actual % complete. In this example I have used the Start date, Duration u0026 Status date for the Planned percentage calculations. If you want to base your calculations based on the baselined version of the project then please change the Start to [Baseline Start] and Duration to [Baseline Duration]. All the formulas and details on how to create the baseline or planned % complete is available in my blog www.niksprojects.com/blog under Project Management tab.
